Free Travel for Serving Military Personnel with Midland Bluebird and Eastern Scottish buses

Midland Bluebird and Eastern Scottish - part of the McGill’s Group - are launching a free bus travel programme for all serving military personnel. All those working for the armed forces will be able to enjoy free travel on buses all year round from Friday 23rd June 2023.

Alongside this, to support Armed Forces Day this weekend, we’re also offering free travel to veterans from Friday 23rd June to Sunday 25th June. Free travel is available to personnel wearing their uniforms, carrying military ID and those with a veteran’s medal or badge.

The programme has already been launched in other areas of the McGill’s Group and proved to be a success. To show our support for the men and women who make up the armed forces, we’re delighted to now be rolling this out across our entire Scottish network.
